Charlotte Mothers of Multiples Leadership

CMOMs thrives because of the tireless involvement and enthusiasm of its member volunteers! We staff over 40 Board positions, and the passion and commitment that our volunteers bring to each one is truly inspiring. We would not be the amazing club we are without these members' steadfast dedication! And each year we recognize our hardest working volunteers with the prestigious President's Award, given to those who have given to CMOMs over and above the call of duty!

Feel free to contact any of our Executive Board members for information about CMOMs!

She attended East Carolina University where she completed her BS in School and Community Health Education. Prior to becoming a stay at home mom while pregnant with twins, she worked for 12 years in the non-profit HIV field and created Charlotte's HIV and syphilis counseling and testing program. She then worked at Carolinas Healthcare System (Atrium Health) for 3 years as a Health and Wellness Coordinator in their Corporate Health Department conducting biometric screenings for companies in 13 different counties. She is also a certified Health and Wellness Coach.

Her love of attending social events also led her to pick up part-time positions for 7 years as a Premium Services Lead at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena (Spectrum Center), 6 years as a Team Supervisor for a fourth of the lower level of the stadium at the Carolina Panthers and attempted one season at the Charlotte Knights Stadium as game-day staff.

"I joined CMOMS as soon as I found out I was pregnant with twins because I had been going to their sale for years prior to the thought of ever becoming a member and I knew how great the sale was. It was great to be able to shop early being pregnant but CMOMS taught me that they were more than just the sale. From the first district meeting I attended when I was pregnant, I was hooked. I met so many great people and looked forward to the monthly gatherings since it was my only escape from the house. I had no idea about the amount of support I would be receiving and the best friends I'd be making. It's also great to know that others are where you are and they have also survived."

Elizabeth Christopher
VP of Marketing

Elizabeth became a member of CMOMS in 2018 shortly before her twin girls, Evelyn and Madelyn, arrived. Elizabeth strongly believes in the power of social support as a key contributor to thriving in life (especially as a multiples mother) and is very grateful for this incredible group of women. She is honored and excited to be a part of the leadership team. Elizabeth relocated to Charlotte after living a gypsy life traveling in pursuit of educational, career and fun goals with her husband, Seth. Shortly after arriving in North Carolina, they found out that their little boy, Aidan, was to become a big brother to two little sisters and decided it was a great time to transition Elizabeth’s career. She stays home with her girls while big brother is in Kindergarten, helps others live their best life through health and wellness coaching/consulting, and teaches dance at the Y. She leads a busy but fulfilling life and considers herself very fortunate to have these opportunities and NEVER be bored!

“I have felt so overwhelmed with gratitude for the support I have received as a member of this group. Knowing that there are other women out there thriving as multiples mothers has helped me to find my own pace and always have somewhere to go with questions.”
