Amanda Bailey
President

Amanda became a member of CMOMs in 2015 while pregnant with her twin girls. She has been District 3 co-leader, NEST leader, and now President.

Amanda is from Connecticut and attended the University of Richmond, where she met her husband, Jason. Amanda works full-time for Liberty Mutual Insurance as a marketing communication program manager.

Amy became a member of CMOMs in 2010 while pregnant with her twin girls. She has been District 3 co-leader, VP of Member Support and now President. Amy lives in Fort Mill with her husband, Tim and 7 year old identical twin girls, Charlotte and Rosalie.

Amy is from the Southwestern region of the US, growing up in Colorado and New Mexico. Even though she has lived in the Charlotte area for over a decade, she still has a great love of Southwestern culture and cuisine. Amy attended the University of New Mexico and graduated with a BS in Education. Amy works full time as a Project Specialist for ManpowerGroup Solutions.

Taryn Nickles
Secretary/VP of Communications

Taryn has been a member of CMOMS since 2015, attending her first meeting when her twins were just two weeks old. She was a NEST Leader prior to becoming VP of Communications this year. Taryn lives in Ballantyne with her husband, Thomas, and identical twin boys, Calvin and Nolan.

Charlotte is the longest place Taryn has ever lived (going on seven years!); born in Saudi Arabia and having lived in Maryland, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee, she is glad to be in one place. Taryn has a B.S. in Studio Art/Graphic Design from Florida State University and a Master of Mass Communication in Advertising from the University of Georgia. She has 10 years of marketing and communications experience that includes working in the commercial real estate and engineering consulting industries. As a side job, she worked as a freelance artist, specializing in pet portraits. She currently stays home with her boys, but hopes to get back to painting...one day...soon!

Amy Reed
Advisor

Amy became a member of CMOMs in 2010 while pregnant with her identical twin girls. She has been District 3 co-leader, VP of Member Support, President, and now Advisor. Amy lives in Fort Mill with her husband, Tim, Charlotte and Rosalie.

Michelle Gugliotti
VP of Consignment Sale

Michelle has been a member of CMOMS since 2011. She has served as D2 co-lead from 2013 - 2017, has been on the Nominating Committee, served as the Consignment Sale assistant, and is currently the VP of the Consignment sale for the second year.

Michelle and her husband Joe live in Concord with their six children. They have twenty-one year old twin boys, Nick & Chris both in the military Nick is a Marine and Chris is a Sailor, twenty year old daughter Lizzy who is a Sophomore in college, son Joey who is in fourth grade and finally their twin daughters who are in first grade Abby & Emily. She is from Philadelphia and they have lived here for the past thirteen years. She currently works and is also very active in helping at her children's schools when time allows.

Peyton Alexander
VP of Fund Development

Peyton has been an active member of CMOMS since 2015. She has been District 1/6 Leader, Social Chairperson, Silent Auction Chairperson and is currently the VP of Fund Development. She lives in Charlotte with her husband Brian, their five year old son Austin and three year old identical twin boys Dylan and Darren.

Peyton is originally from Williamsburg, Virginia only a few blocks away from the colonial district. She attended East Carolina University where she completed her BS in School and Community Health Education. Prior to becoming a stay at home mom while pregnant with twins, she worked for 12 years in the non-profit HIV field and created Charlotte's HIV and syphilis counseling and testing program. She then worked at Carolinas Healthcare System (Atrium Health) for 3 years as a Health and Wellness Coordinator in their Corporate Health Department conducting biometric screenings for companies in 13 different counties. She is also a certified Health and Wellness Coach.

Her love of attending social events also led her to pick up part-time positions for 7 years as a Premium Services Lead at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena (Spectrum Center), 6 years as a Team Supervisor for a fourth of the lower level of the stadium at the Carolina Panthers and attempted one season at the Charlotte Knights Stadium as game-day staff.

"I joined CMOMS as soon as I found out I was pregnant with twins because I had been going to their sale for years prior to the thought of ever becoming a member and I knew how great the sale was. It was great to be able to shop early being pregnant but CMOMS taught me that they were more than just the sale. From the first district meeting I attended when I was pregnant, I was hooked. I met so many great people and looked forward to the monthly gatherings since it was my only escape from the house. I had no idea about the amount of support I would be receiving and the best friends I'd be making. It's also great to know that others are where you are and they have also survived."

Holly Dede
VP of Marketing

Holly Dede joined CMOMs when she was pregnant with her twin boys 5 years ago. She is passionate about serving CMOM families and cultivating the relationships in our community to bring support to our CMOM families, resources to meet our needs, new customers for CMOM businesses and the businesses that serve us, and all the ripple effects those relationships bring to our table.

If you haven’t already spoken with Holly about your business or your employers represented in your family, she is more than eager to create a fresh way to leverage your working relationships and bring CMOMs more valuable support! She lives in Charlotte with her husband, Bernard, and their twin boys Rocco and George. She loves running, cooking, entertaining, and traveling with family. She thinks CMOMs are the BEST moms!

Nadia Jackson
VP of Membership

Nadia joined CMOMs in 2015 and now serves as VP of Membership.

“I was a part of LFMOMs in Virginia and once I moved to Charlotte, I knew the first thing I needed to do was join my local MOM group. My District leader and the other MoMs were so supportive I decided once the fog lifted, I would pay it forward to others.”

Originally from the NYC area, Nadia received her BA from Binghamton University and her MBA from the University of Rochester. She has been in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry for over 10 years, and currently works full-time for a Global Food Service provider. You can often find her running down twin strollers in the aisles of the local Target encouraging folks to join CMOMs!

Becky Peplinski
VP of Member Support

Becky has been a member of CMOMS since 2009. She served as University Working Moms Leader and VMOMS Leader.
Becky and her husband Jason recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. They have 5 children in our family. Josie is a senior and Ella is a sophomore at Lake Norman Charter High School. Simon is a freshman at Christ the King High School. Their identical twin boys Owen and Evan are in the 4th grade at Lake Norman Charter Elementary. Becky is originally from Pittsburgh and has lived in Charlotte for the past thirteen years. Becky spent 10 years as a SAHM and now works full-time for Trillium Health Resources.

Lisa Hollis
VP of New & Expectant Moms

Lisa became a member of CMOMS in 2015 when she found out that she was pregnant with twins. Lisa is originally from Georgia, but moved to Charlotte to complete her degree at Queens University and has been here every since. Lisa has three boys, Aiden (7), Ashton (2), and Austin (2).

Lisa works for the Early Intervention Program (CDSA) full time and finishing up the last semester of her Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University.

“I am so excited about being a part of this organization”. Pregnancy was rough, so I was unable to participate with the nest groups and other events. Now that everyone is doing well, I will be able to be one of the primary contacts for new and expectant moms. I bring a wealth of knowledge from personal experience and from working with children birth through three and feel very privileged to serve in this organization.

Abigail McNevin
VP of Community Outreach

Abby has been an active member of CMOMS since moving to Charlotte from NY in 2013. She began her leadership role by serving as the District 3 co-leader for two years before joining the Executive Board. Abby lives in Indian Land with her husband of 11 years, Alex, their daughter Ava and identical twin daughters Emma and Hannah.

Before moving to Charlotte Abby lived in Bayside NY for 9 years where she worked as a Sales Analyst in the Market Research Department of Sirius Satellite Radio in Manhattan. She went back to graduate school and received a dual Masters degree in Special Education/General Education for ages birth to 6th grade. After the birth of her first daughter, Abby decided to stay home to raise her children, and then especially when her twin girls came along! After moving to Charlotte, Abby went back to work part time at the Morrison YMCA in the CEPC department and has accepted a position teaching preschool in the 2's room at Living Hope in Ballantyne.

"I am so blessed to have such a large support system of people who really get it and understand my crazy life. CMOMS has been a wonderful outlet for me personally and I am overjoyed to be able to give back to the club and help other moms just like me".

Rebecca Hess
Treasurer

Rebecca spent one year as the co-leader for CMOMs District 3 and is serving in the Treasurer role forher second year. She is the mother of two sets of fraternal twins – six-year old daughters, Kate and Josie, and four-year old daughter and son, Marin and Simon.

Rebecca has been a member of CMOMs since 2014, just after relocating back to her home town of Charlotte from suburban Philadelphia. She is currently a stay-at-home mom, after working a busy career life as a CPA. She spent almost nine years in the health care audit and reimbursement practice at the public accounting firm CliftonLarsonAllen, working in both the Charlotte and Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, offices at CLA. Wanting to start a family and spend more time at home, she left public accounting to work at the Office of Audit, Compliance and Privacy at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She decided to take a sabbatical from her CPA career for a few years when her daughters were born. And, the role has suited her well, especially since the second set of twins arrived!

Dawn Sapp
VP of Website Services

Dawn assumed the role of VP of Website Services in August 2018, after previously serving as VP Fund Development, VP of Communications and Treasurer. Prior to her Executive Board experience, she also served on the Scholarship Committee. She lives in Marvin with her husband Darrell, their 8 year old twins Nathan and Abigail.

Dawn is originally from the Chicago area, although she has also lived in Atlanta before migrating to Charlotte. She attended DePaul University where she completed her BS in Accounting and has her MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She works full-time as a Senior Finance Manager for TIAA-CREF with prior Finance experience at Bank of America and Delta Airlines.

“Without any family in the area, I have greatly relied on and enjoyed the support and wisdom of the CMOMs community in my quest to raise happy, healthy, and hopefully at some point well-behaved children. I appreciate the opportunity to be able to give back to that community through my service on the Executive Board.”

Jamie Sunde
VP of Special Projects

Jamie has been a member of CMOMS since just before her identical twin boys were born in June 2015. She's been involved as a district co-leader, VP of Member Support and now the VP of Special Projects.

Jamie is a North Carolina native, hailing from the outskirts of Raleigh, where she graduated from NC State with a BS in Biology. Now living in the Queen City since 2012, Jamie and her husband moved from California where she earned her MPH and MBA at Loma Linda University, where they lived and worked for several years. Jamie is an active member in the community volunteering in several different non-profits as well as promoting her own passion with childhood literacy through Little Free Library projects throughout the city. By day, Jamie works at Atrium Health leading Community Health and Prevention Strategies. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons and daughter.

"I joined CMOMS because I had NO idea what I was getting into with having twins. I've found the most supportive friends who were 'in the trenches' and 'really get it' with twin babies, and as a result I've made great friendships and my boys have several same-age, twin playmates. I wanted to get involved and help with the success of such an amazing organization that does so much for the multiples' community."
